Automotive Window Tint and PPF FAQ
How long does it take to tint my vehicle?
A full vehicle typically takes about an 1.5 hrs to 2hrs depending on make and model.
2 front windows takes 45 minutes to a 1 hour.
Does the shade percentage affect the price?
The preference of shade does not affect the price.
The pricing is based on the quality of film you choose. The price increases based on the percentage of heat rejection, the material, features, and what the lifetime warranty includes for each film.
Can you wash your car after you get your windows tinted?
Yes – Window tint is installed on the interior of car so it won’t affect the windows. We don’t recommend wiping the interior of the windows as you can drag water by applying pressure on the film/glass. Wait at least 3 days
Can you apply window film on top of factory tint?
Yes, we actually recommend having film installed over your factory tint.
Factory tint on trucks, vans, and SUVs do little for heat rejection and UV protection. It’s basically for privacy.
If you don’t want to go any darker than your factory tint, we recommend our 80% film. It’s a clear film that delivers both heat rejection and 99% UV protection.
Can you have window tinting applied to your windows in wet or cold weather?
Yes, it is possible to have your car windows tinted even in freezing weather. However, the curing time may be extended in adverse conditions.
Does the tint go on the outside or inside?
Professional window tinting is done this way: First, the film is laid on the outside of the car’s windows, and cut out to fit. Then the cut out pieces are usually placed on a large piece of glass and trimmed before being installed on the inside of the windows
